Hi all! My name is Megan and I am the garden coordinator for the Methodist Church community garden. I manage day to day operations in the garden as well as weekly volunteers. This is my first year with the Edible Campus Program but I am a lifelong gardener. My emphasis is in ecological restoration, and I am working to integrate native species in the garden along with edible crops. This is my final year at UCSB and I am enthusiastic to continue building relationships with our community. Please reach out by email if you are interested in helping around the garden! Anyone is welcome to visit the garden and take produce. We are always in need of volunteers to keep the garden running smoothly for Isla Vista’s community members.
