About

The Direct Services Committee serves as a sub committee effort of the Food Security and Basic Needs Task Force, focusing on basic needs direct services and programs. We work towards serving all UCSB students, while also intentionally reaching out to students who may be experiencing basic needs and food insecurity. The committee works towards improving access to basic needs resources to support students educational success and holistic wellbeing. This collaborative committee focuses on addressing the immediate needs, equity gaps, communication and expansion of programs through a holistic lens.

The Direct Services Committee meets every 3 weeks, for more information contact Rebecca Segundo.
