Hi my name is Lauren, and I'm from Salt Lake City, UT! I'm a fourth year pursuing a degree in Sociology with minors in both Professional Writing and Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice. This will be my second year as a CalFresh and Basic Needs Advocate on campus, and I started working here because I am passionate about providing students with every additional resource that will help them feel supported and able to succeed. Like our name suggests, these are "basic needs" and a necessity for everyone's wellbeing and goals, so it’s very important that every student can access the resources we have on campus.
