Hey there! My name is Karen and I’m from Rialto, CA. I’m a fourth year majoring in Political Science with a minor in the History of Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice. I became a Basic Needs Advisor and CalFresh advocate at UCSB because I am passionate about creating equitable living for all student populations on campus. The transition to college can be profound, so I support students through sharing campus resources.
