Post Doctoral Researcher, Basic Needs
I’m a post-doctoral researcher with our Basic Needs Evaluation Team and I research the causes and consequences of college-student basic needs insecurity including the impacts of UCSB basic needs programs on student well-being. To date, we have investigated the ways in which the COVID-19 pandemic influenced student basic needs, how stigma and attitudes influence college-student social service use, and the influence of the student-parent relationship on student food insecurity.
