Basic Needs Outreach & Marketing Coordinator
Hello, I'm Amitha and I'm one of the Basic Needs Marketing and Outreach Coordinators for UCSB Thrive! I was interested in working for Thrive when I initially heard about the school's Basic Needs resources through a presentation in one of my classes. I wasn't entirely aware of all the resources that UCSB offered to its students, and I wanted to contribute to making these resources known so that students can get the help they need -- so, I joined the team this summer! I'm going into my third year at UCSB, and am double majoring in Communication and Writing and LIterature. I'm looking forward to working in this position and directing people to resources that can benefit them!
