Amari Lynn Brown, she/her

Hello! My name is Amari-Lynn Brown (she/her/hers) and I am a third year Sociology major with an Applied Psychology minor. At UCSB, I am the current president of the Polynesien dance and appreciation club, Iaorana Te Otea. I am excited to be a part of this team and collect data from members of the AANHPI community here at UCSB. Being a part of the small percent of Polynesian students here, I hope other members of this community take this survey seriously. This will allow me to gauge how my underrepresented community is doing at UCSB. After graduating UCSB, I plan on pursuing a career as an industrial organizational psychologist, working in Human Resources to aid companies, and individuals in those companies, with issues they face with inclusion and equity.
