WHAT IS THE JOB & CAREER SKILLS EDUCATION PROGRAM?

The Job & Career Skills Education Program is a program designed to support students in their job search and expand their work readiness skills.

Student's enrolled in this program will be required to complete the following in an academic year:

•  schedule at least one quarterly appointment(s) (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer) with a Basic Needs Peer Advisor and/or a Career Peer Advisor by zoom or in person,
• required to attended at least one or more Career Services workshop(s), job fair(s), and/or other job skills and career education workshop(s) quarterly (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer)

Other required workshops may include, but are not limited to:

• Job search training,
• Mock interviews,
• Resume development,
• and more!
