SB County Food Banks/Pantries (Community)

View a list of supplemental food resources throughout Santa Barbara County. Includes food pantries, mobile distributions, prepared meals, and more! The Food Bank of Santa Barbara supplies a wide variety of organizations with food for residents experiencing food insecurity.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES MOBILE FOOD DISTRIBUTION (COMMUNITY)

Delivering over 2.1 million pounds of food to families most in need each year, Catholic Charities in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Foodbank has four mobile food distribution sites. Please visit the location website here to find out when the sites at Isla Vista, Lompac, Gaudalupe, New Cuyama and Sisquoc operate as registration is required.

WEST CAMPUS FAMILY STUDENT HOUSING PANTRY (COMMUNITY)

In the West Campus Study Space (736 Bolton Walk, Goleta, CA, 93117), this space provides residents with access to a part-time dry food pantry plus additional resources. Pantry is subject to seasonal hours. The location in the fall will be moved to the Sierra Madre Village (exact location and time tba, please visit this link to check for updates and current times).

West Campus also offers meals free of charge to children 18 years old or younger. Adults may dine for $4. See link for more information.

CAFE PICASSO (COMMUNITY)

During the school year (not including summer) at St. Michael's University Church (6586 Picasso Rd) , there is a complimentary brunch every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and a pantry open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are also taken if one cannot stop by during regular hours, please contact Reverend Nicole Janelle at (805) 968-2712. 

ISLA VISTA YOUTH PANTRY (COMMUNITY)

Occurs very first Thursday at the month from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Isla Vista Elementary (6875 el colegio road Goleta, 93117). Please bring your reusable bags. For more information, please contact Ana Maya at 805-869-3303.

Associated Students Food Bank (Students)

AS Food Bank is an organization working to eliminate food insecurity at UCSB by providing UCSB students with an easily accessible food resource on campus. The Food Bank is dedicated to raising awareness on food issues, and they offer a variety of services/programs to help students that are in need.
